Love: The Finest Version of a Human Love is the force that transforms a person into their best version. No cream or brand can achieve this—just love, and you will see yourself evolve. Day- Monday Time- 11 pm Emotional and Social Intelligence Today, I came back from a school meeting with some unresolved questions. The discussion revolved around the ideal child—studious, patient, focused, and disciplined—something parents also expect. As a learner in the field of psychology, I don’t claim to know everything, but from my understanding of the…

19/01/25 (Sunday ) This morning, I woke up late because it was Sunday. Later, a close friend called me, and we ended up arguing over something small. I realized the argument was because of ego. During the call, he asked me, “What is ego?” I didn’t know how to explain it right away and stayed silent for about 10 seconds. Then he said:
Ego isn’t just about how you treat people—whether you talk politely or rudely. Even egoistic people can act polite on purpose. But not all polite people are egoistic. Egoistic people often stay polite and keep a safe distance from others to protect themselves or avoid getting hurt. This might be their way of dealing with…

This is the justice system of our country—a flawed judiciary and a distorted face of feminism. In the name of feminism, it is often men who are exploited.
When something wrong happens to a woman, the entire society rallies with candle marches, and these women put on a show of fake victimhood, blaming a so-called male-dominated society for their plight. But the cruel reality remains hidden—the suffering of countless men who are trapped and destroyed by the greed and malice of some women…

Today, on 19th October, I faced a situation where, despite giving their best, someone lost and was pushed out of the system. They couldn’t stop crying, and in that moment of panic, it’s hard to know what to do. Often, we start giving advice like, “It’ll be okay,” “You deserve better,” and other comforting words. But honestly, the person already knows these things, and saying them might actually do more harm than good.
The best thing we can do is simply listen. Let them express their feelings. Giving advice without truly understanding their pain can feel insensitive, almost like adding to their burden. Instead of trying to fix their pain, just being there and listening is what they really need. So, what should we do? We should just…

Never judging book by its cover
Dev Writings October 7, 2024 Uncategorized ” Judging a Book by Its Cover: A Personal Reflection” This morning, one of my students quoted George Eliot , saying, “Never judge a book by its cover.” At first, this statement pinched me. Absence of something
A renowned psychologist, Brentano, studied human psychology, especially human consciousness. He pointed out that the basic nature of consciousness is that we often don’t notice what we already have, but we strongly feel the absence of what we lack. “This means that feeling the lack of something is a natural part of being human. As…

As the evening settled on September 17th, after wrapping up the study session with the hostel students, I ventured out for a quiet walk. It was meant to be a moment of peace, a chance to unwind and collect my thoughts. As I strolled, I casually opened Facebook, where a video from the Mahabharata unexpectedly caught my attention. It was the heart-wrenching scene of Abhimanyu’s death—a moment I had seen before, but this time, it hit differently.
There was Karna, delivering the final blow to Abhimanyu with a heavy heart, and then something astonishing happened. After striking, Karna broke down in tears, filled with overwhelming regret. Even Lord Krishna, who had seen countless battles and tragedies, was moved, his divine composure slipping into sorrow. The Pandavas, too, stood crushed by grief, helpless…
